Floyd "Fluffy" Esjornson 5/2/33 - 8/12/03Fluffy was a long time member, joining the Annandale club in February '89. He was very active, attending nearly all projects and events. He received the Lion of the Year award in '02. Fluffy especially enjoyed handing out gifts to children at Breakfast with Santa... Fluffy continued to serve his community and club through the summer of '03.

John "Jack" Breese 2/7/44 - 2/18/10
Jack was a longtime civic volunteer with the Minneapolis
Aquatennial, a lifetime member of the Masons, a
supporter and contributor to the Republican Party, a
lifetime member of the NRA, and a member of the
Annandale Lions. Jack was the founder and a recent
retiree of his brokerage business, Carlson & Breese.
Jack joined the club in December '08 just in time to work our Breakfast with Santa event, where he worked over a hot griddle flipping pancakes. Welcome to the Lions Club, Jack! His next major event was the Annandale 4th of July celebration that he loved so much. Again working the griddle, this time making burgers... That fall Jack found out he had cancer. |
