Halloween at Pioneer Park

For over a decade many very dedicated people volunteered to host a Halloween Party at Pioneer Park.  It has been a wonderful evening for children and for the hundreds of volunteers.  Each year cookies, juice and thousands of pieces of candy are given to visitors young and old.  Not only did this event offer a safe, centralized location for Trick or Treater’s, but it also has provided a venue to collect food for the local food shelf.

Due to it’s popularity the event has grown over the years and now close to 1000 children and their families attend. The success of the event has not come easy. Many hours are spent each year, planning , coordinating, preparing  and cleaning up. Over the last few years all of the work has fallen on the shoulders of a few individuals. In hopes of continuing the success of the event Pioneer Park is looking for individuals lead the project. Please contact Pioneer Park if you have any interest in assisting.

Thank you to the many fine businesses and organizations involved over the years:

Pioneer Park, National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, the Key Club, Tom Johnson Electric, Wright County Sheriff Reserves, Annandale Kiwanis Club, City of Annandale, Annandale Education Association, Annandale State Bank, Oak Realty, Marketplace II, Minnesota Meatmasters (Jerry's Foods), Andy's Auto, Creative Marble Products, Ladies Auxiliary of South Haven, Edina Realty, Roth Insurance, Annandale Auto Parts, Dave Stumpf Pumpkins
